Registration Fee - $25.00 annually; $10.00 for the second child
Tuition – Payments are all inclusive and cover the base price for lessons, a recital fee which includes 2 tickets to those with accounts in good standing, and the cost of a recital costume(s). The total of the above expenses will be divided into 9 equal monthly payments due Sept. – May.
Late Payments – Tuition is due on the 1st day of each month and considered late after the 10th. A late fee of $5.00 will be applied and students will have to observe class until accounts are brought up to date. After 2 consecutive classes, those with delinquent accounts will be withdrawn from the studio.
Methods of Payment Accepted – Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover card & automatic bank draft
Service Fee - $10.00 for Bank Draft rejections; $20.00 for returned checks
Attendance – Absences should be made up within 3 weeks. Call the studio to reserve a place in the appropriate level class and to assure that the number of students in the class does not exceed a manageable number.
Storm Days – The studio will close due to inclement weather as observed by the public school system
Class Visitation – By invitation only or with prior approval by the instructor
Dress Code –
- 3 year olds – Pink or Magenta colored leotard with attached skirt (sold by BDSS); pink tights, pink ballet shoes
- 4K through Teens – Any solid colored leotard; tights – pink or tan (full-footed or convertible)
- Shoes – Pink ballet shoes, tan tap shoes, tan jazz shoes for those enrolled in jazz
- Optional items - Skirt – black; dance bag marked with student’s name
Clean Shoe Policy – Students will not be allowed to enter the studio with dance shoes or street shoes that have been worn outside. They must arrive in a pair of street shoes and change into dance shoes in the lobby before entering the studio to protect the dance floors.
Grooming – Hair must be worn in a bun or pony tail with bangs pinned back. Students must be dressed in dance attire to participate in class or they will be asked to observe.
Drop Off /Pick-up Procedure at the Studio – Students should arrive 5 – 10 minutes prior to class & will not be allowed to leave the studio premises without written permission from a parent or guardian. Please be aware of the one-way drive & extended parking areas. Students should be picked up within 10 minutes after class.
Costumes- Students are measured and recital costumes are ordered in December. All accounts must be current before costumes can be ordered. There is a no return/no refund policy mandated by the costume vendors but size exchanges are possible. Any alterations necessary will be the responsibility of the student.
Recital Policies – Dress Rehearsals require mandatory attendance.
Dance Etiquette – No food, drinks, gum or tobacco products permitted in the lobby, studio or at any public performance. Tattoos must be covered during public performances and body piercings must be removed.
